There are two difren't types of peopl PC and NPC.

PC stands for Player Character and this are the players "the main charakters". They are all controlled by one player.

Then we hawe the NPC that stands for Non-Player Character. So it's different people that live in the world of Nidua. The players can interact with them, but they are all controlled bye the DM. This doe's not mean that they all work together. Each NPC has there own goals, personality and  view of the world.
